Reactive Downhole Tools has been developing swellable elastomers since 2010, before commercialising in 2012. We offer over 200 individual swelling elastomer compounds, each with different characteristics, letting us tailor specific compounds to individual reservoirs. Ultimately, we ensure that each and every deployment provides the optimum solution.
The Reactive Swellometer™ is a proprietary software package which allows for the selection of the best compound for each application. Once a compound has been selected, we manufacture prototype packers and test in full scale in conditions - as close to those of the reservoir as possible.
Our on-site test facility gives us the ability to test several packers consecutively - and quickly confirm compound selection - before manufacturing each element.
